Learning Management System Administrator
I served as the learning management system (LMS) administrator for multiple systems including Moodle, Blackboard, SAP SuccessFactors, and EdApp.
Tech Tidbits Online Moodle Course
As a Moodle administrator, I was responsible for integrating effective technology tools that aided in effective instruction. To help faculty implement these tools, I developed a Moodle course as a repository for all of the training materials, resources, etc. available to them. This course also served as a model of effective course design. Below is an image from this course.
Moodle User Interface Redesign
I also revitalized the user interface of our learning management system, Moodle. I changed it from a simple site with a white background and text and revamped it to include the college’s logo and colors as well as a more user friendly interface. Below are pictures from before and after this upgrade.

Learning Environment Redesign
Another part of my role as educational technologist allowed me to remodel our classrooms to provide a more collaborative learner experience in our face-to-face classes.
Collaborative Classroom
I designed an old classroom into collaborative that facilitated a learner-centered approach that allowed students to collaborate on learning projects with the instructor as the facilitator. Below is a feature in the Baptist Leader Newsletter about the classroom as well as pictures before and after the remodel of the Collaborative Classroom.

Technology Integration into the Curriculum
As a Instructional Technology Analyst for Shelby County Schools, I trained teachers to effective integrate technology into the curriculum.
Tech for TEM 4.0
I created a highly popular professional development presentation entitled Technology for TEM 4.0. TEM (Teacher Effectiveness Model) 4.0 was the teacher evaluation model. The goal of this presentation was to demonstrate to faculty how to effectively use technology tools to master their evaluations and improve student learning. This was an instructor-led course developed using Microsoft PowerPoint.
The Scott Spot Newsletter
The Scott Spot was an informative instructional technology newsletter for K-12 teachers in my assigned schools within Shelby County Schools. It was designed to inform teachers of instructional coaching opportunities, tips for integrating technology in the classroom, and how to best utilize technology effectively to maximize student success. These newsletters were developed using Microsoft Publisher.
